Diwali Memoirs
As was recently revealed in the American Journal of Psychopathology, festive occasions spent away from home cause gooey buildups of mush in the outer cerebellum. Halloween is upon us and Diwali not too far away, so let us go back through the mists of time ... to a diwali 10 years ago.
Okay, engineering entrance exam kooks! I give you the Diwali Memoirs :
1. Life in Prison
Sunny cold Ranchi. Sunny cold blur.
I wake up in a foul mood. No, it's not the stupid crows this time. It's the mohalla kids bursting crackers outside my window. Diwali, I remember ... crazy little shits. This town is a social institution wrapped in a penal institution wrapped in a mental institution.
2.Rage
"Atom bombs" are the rage this year. I spread mine out in the sun to dry. Later, when young people of all ages jostle outside, I will gather them up in my room and plot my escape.
